I figured in the weeks following the end of Mass Effect, before the SNAFU that was the Collectors, Shepard and Williams would be just a little more affectionate toward each other - stealing glances, standing a little closer, sneaking in a quick neck kiss while no one is around.

(After chatting normally about work sometime in between the end of ME1 and the beginning of ME2)
Shepard: Okay that sounds good. Keep me updated.
Ash: Okay.

(Shepard smirks and kisses her neck, then walks away)

Ash: (smiling) And now you walk away?
Shepard: (shrugs) We're working. (chuckles and walks off)
Ash: (yelling) That was mean!....(under her breath) Tease...
